![]() The indoor water park used to close at 9 PM or 10 PM. The food by the outdoor bar is very good. The would be in groups talking to each other. There were days when you would stand waiting for one of the bartenders to actually acknowledge you and take your order. The bar outside is nice but the service is remarkably slow. There should be music outside all day long. The outdoor area is extremely fun and utilized now more than ever before. It took us just moments to check in where it used to take large chunks of time. The check in process has been refined and flows so much smoother than ever before. She seems to be the only bartender who knows how to make every drink without having to look on the sheet and moves remarkably fast. Lexi at the outside bar should be employee of the month every month. Leann is an amazing waitress who handled our large group with a smile. It was an absolutely delicious meal for a reasonable price. The food was surprisingly extra delicious. They were able to accommodate a group of 21. This is the first year, in all of our time coming, that we all ate in the buffet restaurant. The kids meals are reasonably priced with great portions. The cost of the pizza and the cost of meals near the pool at the snack bar are extremely reasonable. The pizza place and Ben & Jerry’s ice cream parlor are wonderful additions. The new decor is very lovely and a little more understated. We do not want extraneous folks walking about. We come here because only guests use the facilities and we like it that way. We seriously hope they reconsider this policy as this is the reason we choose not to go to Kalahari resorts and Camelback Mountain. Sadly this year we got an email saying they were going to allow day passes. The sense of security over the years has allowed us to let our children gain independence and move about freely. We love the fact that it is private and recessed from the road. We had 5 rooms and are a friend group/family of 14 adults and 7 kids. This is our 10th year coming to Pocono Great Wolf. We found it comfortable with plenty of space, More Show less My little one loved the wolf-themed room. Plus, I prefer not to eat "all I can," which of course is my choice, but then why do I want to pay for that? Reasonably priced a la cart options would be nice, especially for lunch. The only slight issue is that it is only all that you can eat (for kids too), and my kid is not an all you can eat type. We had a variety of items, including steak, and it was all great. Maybe that level I isn't needed, but I thought it would be helpful because my little one was a little too young for the raft rides and that left only one other slide ride (it has a couple of slides, but they are the same ride). The only thing that I found lacking is what I'll call intermediate level rides-medium size but not the high raft rides. The wavepool is great the outdoor pool is very nice the raft slides are exciting and the outside rope climbing area is fun. We had a very nice trip to Great Wolf Lodge.
